College Study Skills is the hardest subject for me. Mainly because of the Social Media Diary. If I can be honest, I despised that assignment. I hope I'm not being harsh. But yeah, that topic was so hard for me to do. Not once I've thought about ditching and not doing it. It was because I hate cameras, therefore I hated the fact that I have to record myself. On top of that, I am not the type of person to post on social media. You won't find me online unless it is my friends or family. I post myself every once in a blue moon, but I quickly delete it. The thought of having to post myself online, especially speaking English, put me in an awful mind state. I thought about sending the videos personally to Miss Shanaa instead of posting them, but of course that won't work. I admit, I didn't really care about the assignment. It was as long as I finished and sent them, then that's it. But when I looked at my marks, I regretted not trying hard enough. My classmates' videos were all dope and I regretted it even more. However, because of this, I am more familiar with cameras, even though I still hate them. And this topic also kind of lifted my confidence in speaking English. In the past, it was inconvenient to speak English because none of my people speak English. But then they see my videos and see that I was talking in English, hence it is uncomplicated to speak English now.
This was our last class with Miss Shanaa. It was entertaining because we shared our peaks and pits and everyone was having a blast sharing theirs. Miss Shanaa was a responsible mentor and she took a great care of us. I, on the other hand, didn't expect her to be a fierce person. She would always, without hesitation, call out others' misbehavior. She put us in our place every time we misbehave. None of us wants to get on her nerves because it is scary to get called out by her. However, she is also a playful person. We witnessed the playful fights she had with Naim about Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande and every single one of them was humorous to watch. She is also very flexible with memes and that was also enjoyable to watch. Her way of teaching is undoubtedly easy to understand. Her classes were indeed fun to learn.
