THE BEGINNING

This message right here was the start. The feeling I got when I saw the message was unforgettable. I was thrilled but also afraid and worried. Mainly because I am going to new environment and meet new people.

As obvious here, I am HORRIFIED to start a new life away from my parents. I have never lived away from my parents during my whole 17 years. And I prefer classes at home rather than at university. It is still the same. We still do online classes. But I was also delighted because this means I can finally do things I want without worrying about my parents' reaction.

Here is my parents sending me to Palam. Before I moved, my little brother, who spent 3 years in boarding school at Kelantan, said that when mom and dad dropped you off, and you see them driving away from you, you will feel sad and without you realizing, you kind of feel lost. Well, he was right. It was worse because during the registration, everything was rushed and I couldn't even say goodbye properly to my parents. Fortunately, I didn't cry in front of them. That would be so embarrassing. On the other hand, I am contented that both of my parents were there when they sent me.
